Q: What makes your Finish Cream so much better than liquids or pastes?
A: As I mentioned before, your paint surface is not really flat when viewed through a microscope. Imagine thousands of microscopic paint particles that do not all align perfectly and do not all lie flat. Some lie flat, some lean against others at various angles and different amounts of overlap. This uneven and random distribution of particles forms an entire surface consisting of thousands of peaks and valleys. Due to its composition and its consistency, IMAGE 10 Finish Cream successfully fills the valleys of the paint surface while capping the peaks. This results in complete protection of the paint, chrome, and aluminum surfaces. It also produces a more durable finish and a deeper shine. Liquid products fill the valleys, but do not provide adequate coverage to cap the peaks. This leaves parts of your paint's surface unprotected. Pastes, on the other hand, cover the peaks but do not penetrate adequately to fill all the valleys of the paint surface. This creates thousands of cavities under the surface of the wax. Therefore, your car's wax surface actually gets attacked from two directions: the exterior is of course subjected to the sun's UV rays, acid rain, bird stool, and various other environmental contaminants. But also moisture trapped in the cavities of the paint is heated and cooled and expands and contracts causing degradation of the integrity of the wax surface from the bottom-up.
